Revolut has launched Ultra, a premium World Elite Mastercard debit card offering subscription-based lifestyle and travel benefits in Singapore.
The platinum-plated card grants cardholders premium status upon sign-up, without the manual approval processes or income-based qualification criteria typically associated with traditional premium banking products.
Revolut has structured Ultra around a subscription model, aiming to decouple access to premium financial services from conventional income thresholds and credit history checks. The company commissioned research from YouGov, which found that 64% of respondents in Singapore had been excluded from premium banking products for not meeting minimum income requirements. In addition, Revolut said this reflects a gap in traditional banking models for groups such as entrepreneurs, independent consultants, and creators whose income structures may not align with standard corporate payroll criteria.
Ultra bundles 18 third-party subscriptions covering areas including food delivery, AI tools, wellness, media, and productivity, with a combined retail value exceeding approximately USD 4.694 (SGD 6.000) per year. These include foodpanda's pandapro, ChatGPT Go, Financial Times Premium Digital, MasterClass, NordVPN Complete, Headspace, and Super Duolingo, among others. Ultra members also gain access to The Mastercard Collection, a suite of dining, entertainment, and travel privileges available through Mastercard's World Elite proposition, alongside merchant vouchers from Shopee, Grab, and Amazon.
Travel and financial benefits
Travel-related features form a core part of the Ultra proposition. Cardholders receive access to more than 1.600 airport lounges and fast-track security at over 180 airports worldwide, along with 5GB of monthly global data across more than 100 countries via eSIM. At the same time, as part of The Mastercard Collection, Ultra customers can access Asia Pacific's first Taste by Priceless dining venue at Hong Kong International Airport.
On foreign exchange, Ultra offers unlimited international transfers without additional fees, exchange across more than 35 currencies at no extra cost, and overseas ATM withdrawals of up to approximately USD 2.738 (SGD 3.500) each rolling month without Revolut fees. The card also includes travel insurance coverage, with personal accident and overseas medical benefits of up to approximately USD 782.000 (SGD 1 million) each, alongside trip inconvenience and baggage protection.
Ultra additionally provides access to investment tools, including a money market fund fee of 0.10%, described by Revolut as its lowest across its card tiers, compared with 0.90% for Standard, 0.45% for Premium, and 0.30% for Metal accounts. Precious metals trading, including gold, silver, and platinum, is available with fees starting from 0.49%.
Pricing and market context
Ultra is priced at approximately USD 70 (SGD 89.99) per month, or approximately USD 701 (SGD 899) when paid annually. New and existing customers can receive a 10% discount on the monthly fee for the first three months, an offer running until 17 November 2026.
The launch extends Revolut's tiered card strategy in Singapore, where the company has previously offered Premium and Metal products, as it seeks to position subscription-based bundling as an alternative route into the premium banking segment for customers outside conventional income-verification frameworks.
